Attic ventilation is the system of intake and exhaust vents that lets air flow freely through your attic space. Cool outside air enters through soffit vents along the eaves, rises as it warms, and exits through roof or ridge vents near the peak. It sounds simple, but getting the balance right is the difference between a roof that lasts 30 years and one that fails in 12.
